Liverpool sat eager and ready to go ‘Bunting Mental’, as The Bullet Stephen Bunting looked to give the people what they wanted with a dazzling stage performance.
The St Helens star certainly did not disappoint with his walk-on, however the darts did not go his way with only a 91 average in a thumping 6-1 defeat to Rob Cross.
As was the case for Chris Dobey in his hometown evening, the pressure of the support seemed to topple Bunting and his darts.

“Beats Price in Cardiff and now beats Bunting in Liverpool. Cross is this seasons party pooper”
@AzamWHUFC
“That a sluggish and shaky display from Bunting. But hats off to Rob Cross he made light work of it in the end.”
