World number one Luke Humphries saw off The Green Machine Michael van Gerwen to set himself up for a final showdown with either Rob Cross or Gerwyn Price in Liverpool.
A 6-4 victory and 98.22 average was enough to see Humphries get himself past Mighty Mike, continuing to pick up pivotal points as he chases down league leading Luke Littler.
Van Gerwen teased another comeback as seen in the quarter final victory against Luke Littler, but the 2023 World Champion was to not fall to the same fate.
Humphries is without a nightly win since Exeter in Week four, and despite some heckling over his beloved Leeds United, Cool Hand is showing exactly what a World number one can do.
